Ok this may not matter to most of you, but this is important to me. Maybe even to some of you. Palladium Books is in trouble.

Palladium is the publisher of a whole slew of pen and paper RPG's, some of which I've played many many hours over the years. Danika and I are both long time veterans of the Rifts Multiverse, and Robotech has been a HUGE inspiration for me since high school. In particular, those two titles alone were major influences during the formative years of the project you'll be seeing from me next year. And while saying that is probably giving away too much for my own good, these guys are in serious trouble. You can read more on the situation here, and you can help by purchasing one of the prints that they'll be putting together specifically for this drive.

While I don't really do the pen and paper stuff much anymore, as there's this web comic thingy that keeps eating my time :), I still have a lot of respect for the people who work on this stuff. And right now they REALLY need help.

I'm ordering a couple prints myself, and for the next week the proceeds from any books or shirts that you order here will be converted into further purchased prints. I'll then do some kind of drawing to distribute any we're able to get. Anyone who buys something from our store between now and Friday May 5 will be eligible for the drawing. To furthur sweeten the pot, I will add a seperate pencil sketch of my own design to each print we attain in this manner. Further goodies will be added as I can get them.

Special thanks to Something Positive for bringing this to my attention. I just realized I may never have mentioned them before, but they're one of the first comics I check each and every day. Never more glad of that than I am today.

Edit: They've added a direct Paypal link on their main page

for those who can't afford larger amounts. Every bit helps.

Ok, time to explain.

For those who haven't figured this all out, I'm gonna give you some links. If you can't figure it out from these, it probably won't matter to you in the least.

It started with an announcement here...

...the first shot was fired by someone who almost immediately acknowleged what a petty response it was...

...and the clincher, which can be explored in more agonizing depth here. This particularly mean-spirited bit was the last straw for me.

I'll leave you with that for now. Try not to leap to too many conclusions.
