Real Life was nice enough to run my guest strip on Wednesday, and promptly doubled my hits. Thanks Greg!

I'm really amazed at the numbers considering that there's no actual hyperlink to my site from RL. Every one of you guys took the time to type in my rather long web address, so hopefully you like what you've found here :)

For everyone else, If you missed the guest strip yesterday, Go see it!

I drew it a bit bigger than was really needed. It's actually twice the size of one of my normal strips since RL uses such high panels, and I can't draw heads that small. So I've put a larger version in the Misc section here. Check it out, it's all pretty and shit.

I'm currently coloring and lettering the next strip, and it will definitely be up before I leave for work friday morning. It may not be fully shaded and highlighted though, as I am running out of time this week, so you've been warned. If it's not done by then, I will finish detailing it once I recover from the weekend.

As proof I'm not dead, and to tide you over for a couple days, here's a look at the pencils in progress for the next strip.

I made a desktop out of the Cervantes "Delicate Incarnate" panel from a couple strips ago, and promptly lost the file. I'm going to see if I can't have Steve put a new copy up for you whilst I draw...

Update: 1 AM, finished pencils. Inking tomorrow...

So here's the deal... I may delay putting up another strip till later in the week. Possibly as late as thursday. The reason being is that I spent twice as long on the RL strip as I thought I would, and I can't come up with something that I can draw-shade-color in the next day or so.

So I'm working on a proper strip for later this week, which will hopefully be followed by twenty four pages of comic next monday. I learned a few tricks doing the RL strip and I'm really happy with the way it turned out, I really hope it goes up this week so you get to see it.

Update: I've tossed out my idea for this weeks strip, as I really felt it was half-ass and AL suggested something over the weekend that I realized I need to use. So I've started from scratch, but should have the comic up by Friday nonetheless.

My local comic shop, Dreamland Comics is going to be hosting a "24 Hour comic day" on April 24, which is just over a week away. I will be attending, as will Kyle Thiessen of Brainwrap Comics.

Anyone interested in coming out to see us scribble is welcome to do so. Even better would be seeing more people come out to do comics of their own. It looks like there'll be close to a dozen artists there already, and there's still a week and a half to go. If you're in the area and thinking about doing one, but haven't stopped in to sign up, I hope you'll find the time to do so.

I've wanted to do one of these for ages, and this is the best kind of excuse.

I'm still working on that guest strip for Real Life, hopefully to be done in a couple days.
