So I'm running around Fable, and I suddenly notice that some of the girls have little hearts floating above their heads.

According to the game this shouldn't happen till after I've been wining and dining 'em for quite a while. Gotta give 'em gifts and such to get their attention, and eventually the object of your affection will ask for a ring.

I can't walk by more than 3 villagers without hearing "How bout a ring?" while a dozen more with giant heart-shaped halo's circle in for the kill...

These are people I've not said one word to the entire game. But then again, it's broken.

Half the guys have hearts too, too bad they're all half my height, balding, or festooned with mustache.

Bleah.

Methinks the idea to tie your renown and popularity to the number of things killed, rather than just your actions in town and towards the story was not the best move.
