09.28.04 12:00 AM Been getting some serious migranes lately, probably due to the season change. Didn't have allergies or migranes like this till this past year or so. It sucks. There's a subtle referance in this comic to Suburban Tribe. See if you can spot it. Speaking of webcomics, I discovered Martin's Misdirection last week. It's good, check it out. I picked up a couple new cd's last week, and I've been much pleased with 'em. Dropkick Murphys "Blackout" - I just wanted one song off this album,"Fields of Avenry", and I still need to find the album that has "Cadence to Arms" on it. I can listen to "Avenry" all day long, I love that song. For those who aren't aware, Dropkick Murphys at their best are for all intents and purposes an Irish Punk Rock Chorus. This is an amazing and wonderful thing. I likes the Irish. Green Day "American Idiot" - If you haven't heard already, Green Day done good. As much as I liked "Basket Case", I never really got into the "Dookie" album or Green Day in general. But "Idiot" is, as a whole, easily the best album I've heard in many many years. That's not to say any one song is really that spectacular, though a few I do like on their own, but it's hearing them together as an album that they really shine. The track changes and segues are extremely well done, due to the fact that the album is essentially a rock opera. I was never a big enough Who fan to really get into "Tommy", but this is along similar lines. Well worth picking up. I really thought I could finish the wallpaper, do a guest strip, and finish monday's strip in time. I underestimated the time on every one of those. I think I learned something though... Too many side-projects, not enough regular strips. I think I'm gonna hold off on any more guest strips til I can get a few extra strips in the can. I've been running right up against the clock even with my little vacation earlier this month. Though I suppose Fable, Star Wars, Katamari Damashii, and the dozen or so other distractions that came out this month were a good chunk of the reason for the lack of productivity. I seriously need to lay off the video games. But damn people, Katamari Damashii, those of you who don't have an update schedule need to buy it right-now.
